Summary

FinSignal has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. CyanProtocol LLC does not collect, store, receive, or sell any of your data. Everything the extension stores stays locally on your device.

1. Data you provide

2. Data we do NOT collect

No personal information. No servers or databases. No usage tracking, analytics, or telemetry. Your API key is never stored on any server operated by CyanProtocol LLC.

3. Data sent to third-party AI providers

When you run an analysis, FinSignal sends data directly from your browser to the provider you choose:

• Claude (Anthropic): ticker symbol(s), the analysis prompt, and (for document analysis) the extracted PDF text are sent to Anthropic, governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Your API key is sent in the request header to Anthropic only.
• Ollama (local): all requests go to your own machine (localhost:11434). Nothing leaves your device.
• LM Studio (local): all requests go to your own machine (localhost:1234). Nothing leaves your device.

Do not upload documents containing personal information or material non-public information you are not permitted to share when using a cloud provider.

5. Data retention & deletion

All data is stored locally. Delete it any time by clearing the extension's storage or removing the extension. CyanProtocol LLC holds no copy, because none is collected.

6. Data sale & use

CyanProtocol LLC does not sell or transfer your data and does not use it for advertising, credit, lending, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's core function.

7. Children

FinSignal is a financial research tool and is not directed at children under 13.
